We want small groups to be an important part of your experience at 2rc.
Participating in a small group is one of the ways that we want you to experience our caring community: awakening and encouraging you in your journey with Jesus. In these groups, you will share life together, play together, pray together, and study the Word together (and probably eat together, too). We will have a variety of co-ed groups and men’s and ladies groups at different times and places throughout the week.
How can you connect?
It’s simple. You can explore our online Group Directory. Find a group and click the button to join. Your contact information will be sent to the group leader, who will follow up. You can also send an email to Jon@2RC.org and we will get back with you to find a time and type of group that works for you!
We also need group leaders!
If you feel led by the Lord to lead a group, we’d love to hear from you!
At Two Rivers Church we hope students will come as they are, connect with other students and leaders, grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ and serve in their church and community!
Our student ministry (grades 6-12) meets every Wednesday from 6:30-8PM at the church office. We also encourage our students to worship with us on Sunday mornings as well as serve on a team at the church.
For more information on how to get connected in student small groups as well as serving, e-mail Wensly@2RC.org.
Kids have a very important place here at our church. 2RC Kids isn’t just a babysitting service; the kids have church too! We do this in an age-appropriate way from infants through fifth grade.
Infants and toddlers start out in a loving and fun environment learning songs and Bible rhymes. Preschoolers have a fun Bible lesson, play games, and sing songs. Elementary kids have worship music, learn Bible lessons, and do small-group activities.
All of our activities are designed to build relationships between the kids and the volunteer staff and to ultimately build a relationship with God.
Our goal at 2RC Kids is to partner with you in teaching your child to love God and to love others. Parents are the main spiritual influence in a child’s life, and we hope we can partner with you in leading your child to a life-long love of Jesus Christ.
If you have any questions about our ministry or would like to learn more about volunteering in 2RC Kids, please contact Megan@2RC.org. We would love to hear from you!
“And they will pray for you with deep affection because of the overflowing grace God has given to you.” – 2 Corinthians 9:13
At Two Rivers we believe that prayer is vital in maintaining a relationship with Jesus. Our desire is for prayer to be a natural part of our lives, an Overflow of our heart. Our mission statement states that we are committed to awakening people to the life-changing power of Jesus. We believe prayer is at the core of this experience. What is Prayer?
Prayer is communicating with God through talking with Him and listening to Him. We believe that Jesus is living, active, and still speaking. Through prayer, we have the privilege of hearing what He says, and that is life-changing!
We pray to become closer to God, to be made more like Jesus, to be in His presence, and to be in His will. Prayer isn’t boring, and when we talk with God we see Him move; we experience miracles. Jesus makes a promise in Matthew 18:20, “When two of you get together on anything at all on earth and make a prayer of it, my Father in heaven goes into action. And when two or three of you are together because of me, you can be sure that I’ll be there.” At Two Rivers, we believe in community, and we love watching God move as we do life together.
Sunday Morning Prayer Teams
Each Sunday, these teams pray for our pastor, worship teams, and our other ministries. The teams also are available each Sunday at the back of the worship center for prayer ministry. If you are looking for a place to connect and serve, the prayer teams are a great way to get involved.
Two Rivers Intercessory Prayer Teams
God has given us amazingly faithful people who would love to pray for you or any requests you may have. Prayer requests can be emailed to Prayer@2RC.org.
