How to Neighbor| Orphans Embraced
This Sunday we concluded our series "How To Neighbor" by discussing God's heart for Orphans. As we opened our Bibles, we looked at the story of Mephibosheth. Mephibosheth was orphaned, crippled, and an outcast that was welcomed into a royal family, and given a seat at the King's table to eat as one of the King's son. As christians we all have an adoption story like Mephibosheth, and we are called to care for orphans. At the end of service, we welcomed The Murdocks and the Merchants to the couch to share how they have answered this call through fostering and adoption.
