We’ve found the future home of Two Rivers Church.

For five years, we’ve been a mobile church.

God has provided us a permanent home.

In the fall of 2014 we launched public worship services at Ooltewah Elementary School. Many of you were at those first services! And many more have been connected into a caring family and transformed by the power of Jesus!

In 2018 our vision was “Taking Ground: In our hearts, our homes and our community.” We’ve watched God change and heal hearts as well as strengthen marriages and families. Now we are ready to take physical ground and establish a permanent home for our church family!

We can’t move forward without you.

On Sunday, December 15, we’ll be having a vote for members of Two Rivers Church to approve the purchase of the land.

Sunday, December 15

Important Questions

Why is Two Rivers Church buying land?

Approximately two years ago, we sensed God leading us to begin the search for a permanent location. The school has been a fantastic temporary home for us, but we believe we are to establish a permanent facility that will serve our community for generations to come.

How much does the land cost?

We are purchasing a total of ten acres on Ooltewah Georgetown Road. Five acres are being donated, and the other five will be purchased at $70,000/acre for a total investment of $350,000.

How will Two Rivers Church pay for the land?

Before we ever asked the church to give, God led several people to donate toward the land purchase. We have $14,500 in designated gifts and an additional $50,000 has been pledged. In January 2020 we will begin a capital campaign to raise the money necessary for the purchase.

What’s next in the process?

Member Vote

On December 15, during the 9:30am and 11:00am services, we’ll have a Member Vote to approve the purchase of the land.

Informational Meeting

You are invited to drop by the church office on Monday, December 9 between 6-7:30pm to ask questions about the land purchase.
