Ron has been married to his wonderful wife, Shelly, for 18 years. They have three children- Luke (15), and identical twins, Kennedy and Morgan (12). His walk with the Lord began around age 5-6 when his mother led his to know Jesus. However, it was not until January 1, 1996 that he gave it all to God. His involvement with 2RC stretches back to the very first informational meeting about the plant. His family heard about the vision and have been “in” since that moment.
Isaac has been married to his best friend Katie for five years. They have two sons, Wilder (2) and Wells (6 Months). He grew up in a small community church, where he remembers accepting Christ at age 7. Life ebbed and flowed in the years following, and it wasn’t until college that the Lord became personal to him. Two Rivers has given his family such opportunities to serve their friends. Once a month, playing ring toss with the kids in Room 4. Throughout the week, he is fortunate enough to meet with our men for Fight Club. And on Sundays, they host a young families small group where they have been able to get to know some of their dearest friends and be known by them. God has always been generous with his love, but never has he felt such a part of the body as now at Two Rivers.
Kyle has been happily married to Emily for three years, with their daughter Ellison (1). He is an Oncology Nurse Practitioner. He came to Christ in college when his mother had a near death open-heart surgery. Soon after, he began attending Two Rivers Knoxville and started serving in the High School Ministry where he met Chris Jessen. After several years of serving, Chris approached him about moving to Chattanooga to help plant the church. With prayer, the Lord confirmed He was also leading Kyle and he served as Operations Director from 2013-2016. God continues to use this church in the Casey’s lives. They love Two Rivers and look forward to continuing to serve God here.
Bryan has been married to Susan for 31 years, where the Lord has blessed him with what Proverbs 18:22 calls a “good thing”. They have three daughters who have married and delight in Jesus! The Lord continues to be so kind to them and has given them 2 grandsons; they are believing God for 8 more! The Holy Spirit opened Bryan’s eyes and drew him to Himself at age 24. From that day, His grace and mercy have been new each day. He served in men’s ministry at his home church for 30 years, prior to moving to Chattanooga in 2012. Currently, He is serving in Fight Club where he is honored to weekly spend time with the men in our church. Bryan and Susan also enjoy greeting once a month. They are encouraged by what God is doing in Two Rivers and are committed to serve his people in whatever capacity God leads.
Bob was married for 33 incredible years. His wife, Missy, passed away in 2017. Richard, his son is 26 years old and married to his daughter in law, Courtney. Bob has a precious grandchild, Benaiah, who is 2 1/2. He was saved as a child at the age of eight during a Sunday morning service. His faith journey as a child through his formative school years was tough as his mother was diagnosed with Schizophrenia shortly after he was saved. Through it all, he experienced the faithfulness and grace of a loving heavenly Father. Bob says he has arrived, broken like all of us, but by God’s grace He is conforming him into the image of our Savior, Jesus. At 2RC, he’s been blessed to serve as a group leader, as part of the leadership team, and also involved with both the greeting and prayer teams.
Katie and Chris have been married for 10 years. They have four amazing children: Oliver (9), Joshua (8), Samuel (6), and Claire (4). He gave his life to Jesus after a series of stupid decision as a sophomore in high school. When God called him into His family, he immediately sensed a calling into ministry. Chris hit “snooze” on that calling- and it wasn’t until he was studying Business at the University of Tennessee that he finally took that calling seriously. He is the founding and Lead Pastor of Two Rivers Church. Before serving here, Chris spent 7 years, primarily in Student Ministries. He was also a campus pastor, and Family Ministries Pastor as well.
