GR8R | He's A Keeper
This Sunday we pulled off the Romans 8 road and made a detour on the road up to Jerusalem. We walked through Psalm 121, which is a Pilgrim Psalm, a Psalm of Ascent. These songs were sung by Jewish worshippers on the way up to Jerusalem at least twice a year. The main theme of this Psalm is this: the LORD keeps you. He is your keeper. And part of his keeping is connecting us to a caring church family so that we can keep one another from stumbling, despair, apathy and sin.
